The 2026 London World Travel Fair was held at the London ExCeL from 3 to 5. The China Pavilion opened on 3, with nearly 100 leaders from Chinese and international government, business, culture, and tourism sectors attending to witness China's tourism and culture sector making a fresh debut focused on green innovation, intangible cultural heritage preservation, and supply chain integration.
Shantou Toys: Building Global Business
More than 30 thousand toy models were showcased, with buyers from 55 countries and regions around the world attending to select products. Recently, the 25th Shantou Chenghai International Toy & Gift Fair concluded at the Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Guangdong after a 4-day run. According to organizers, this edition attracted a total of 29 million visitors, including 18 million professional buyers—an increase of 15.4% compared to the previous fair.
Sichuan Aba: Intangible Cultural Heritage Industry Grows in the Mountains
Since opening in 2013, this 4A scenic area, centered on Qiang culture, has been staging a daily opening ceremony. Programs such as the sheepskin drum dance, Salang, and polyphonic folk songs create a model featuring "intangible cultural heritage practitioners performing on-site, local Qiang residents participating, and visitors engaging in deep experiences," earning warm reception from tourists.
